Cape May Plant Materials Center

Established 1965
Since 1965, the Cape May Plant Materials Center has provided plant solutions
for natural resource conservation issues from Massachusetts to North
Carolina. The center addresses resource concerns pertaining to coastal
shorelines, sand dunes, soil bio-engineering and coastal grassland habitat. The Center has released several conservation plants including
'Atlantic' Coastal panicgrass, 'Avalon' saltmeadow cordgrass, 'Cape' American
beachgrass and Suther Prairie warm-season grasses.
