Feature: NRCS Plant Materials Centers Awarded Special Recognition

The Department of Interior, National Park
Service awarded fourteen
NRCS Plant Materials Centers
from around the nation, the Special
Recognition Award in recognition to the NPS/NRCS Interagency Plant Materials
Program and assistance to National Parks.
The award was presented on an engraved oak plaque
and stated,
“In recognition of your dedication and contribution to the NPS/NRCS
Interagency Plant Materials Program and assistance to the (names of National Parks
specific to each Center). The
native plant revegetation technical assistance, technology development, seed
and plant propagation provided through this program has allowed the National
Park Service to meet many native revegetation challenges.” |
