CAPMC-T-0216-BF Evaluation of plant materials for biofuel Determine ethanol production levels for production of fuel additives. ARS is doing data analisis in FY07. Soil samples were taken in all plots in FY05. 2002-2007
CAPMC-T-0217-CP Inter-center strain trail to determine wind erosion control effectiveness. Inter-center strain trial, ICST Determine best cultavar for wind erosion control in Tule valley, update veg guide, for use in farm bill programs. Tech note 73 developed. Plots will continue to be evaluated for sp. persistance. Plots were established using irrigation and have not been irrigated for two years. 2002-2008

CAPMC-T-0220-CP Evaluation of Native BOR plants for use in the revegetation of retired farm land. USDI-BOR contract to determine which native species can be developed into a mass produced variety for re-veg. of 200,000 acres of retired farm land. 2003-2008
CAPMC-T-0221-CP Determine best seed production methods for NPS species. Document plant production, seed harvest and cleaning methods. Works continues with three parks in CA. 2003-2008

CAPMC-T-0423-RA Evaluation of mycorrhiza on grass performance Determine if mycorrhiza on seed improves plant performance. Four treatments: 1. Raw, 2. Mycorrhiza, 3. slow release N, 4. slow release N and Mycorhiza. Three replacations, two species - purple needlegrass and Berber orchardgrass planted at 50 PLS/sf, 20X20' plots 2003-2008
